Welcome to the first in the series, Meet the Designer. First up, Joseph Lago with Bettie's Wardrobe.

Joseph's Goal: to make women feel beautiful. (That sounds familiar doesn't it? It is always nice to connect with those that have the same passion as you. Women, we must be beautiful if everyone is trying to get us to see it.)
When did he discover his love for fashion?
It has been a lifetime passion for Joseph. A passion that has sprung out of his desire to help women of all kinds see the beauty that they posses.

What inspires his designs?
Bettie's Wardrobe is a pin-up, retro style for the modern woman. It has been inspired from the numerous places Joseph has lived and all the different types of people he has met.

I had the opportunity to model for Joseph several times during Orlando Fashion Week this past August. His fall line is full of brilliant colors, fabrics and angles. Plaids, oranges and beautiful fall hues. He has a very creative eye. Not only are his designs beautiful, but they enhance the beauty of those who wear them.
Joseph has a kind spirit about him. He is one of the nicest designers that I have had the opportunity to work with. I encourage you to check out his line and discover the beauty all for yourself.
Keep your eye on this one. He is going places.
